First prize for hot runner technology

The official presentation of the Rems-Murr Innovation Prize 2016, took place in the client reception of the Kreissparkasse Waiblingen on November 8, 2016, as part of a company event in the presence of guests from business, politics and the press. Föhl received 1st prize for its newly developed hot runner technology process for sprueless casting of zinc parts. The new procedure not only lowers energy and material consumption, it also enables production of zinc die cast parts in a more economically efficient manner while improving product quality.

Ulrich Schwab (Technical Director Föhl) and Frank Hartmann (Project Management Föhl) accepted the prize.
