“I came to the Föhl company for a voluntary internship, and was very glad to complete my toolmaker’s apprenticeship there. Afterwards, I was hired and continued my training for two years at the Abendschule zum Feinwerkmechanikermeister (HK – Master precision mechanic night school) while I worked, with the support of my employer. Today, I am working as the Deputy Head of Mechanical Processing.

“After successfully completing my training at Föhl as an industrial clerk, I was hired to the Sales department, which is where I wanted to work. I completed my training as a business administrator while I worked. In my current position in Sales, I am a contact person for new customers and for questions on products evaluated through the interdepartmental manufacturing capability analysis.

I completed my training at Föhl as a systems integration IT specialist. During my training, I became familiar with the entire company and all of its departments. My current duties include maintaining the existing IT systems and software, and rolling out and implementing new software as part of the company’s digitization.
Working at Föhl, I particularly like the fact that I was assigned responsibility directly after my training in the form of my own projects, that people know one another and are not just “numbers” in a system.
