Föhl family party
with public viewing
Colorful entertainment, fun and excitement at the Föhl Family Event followed by a public screening of the UEFA European Championship round of sixteen.
Tropical temperatures on Saturday evening gave the celebration a Mediterranean touch. More than 600 employees and their families took the opportunity to stroll, connect with one another, and celebrate at Föhl’s factory grounds in Michelau.
There were plenty of treats to enjoy: delicious grilled foods, tasty salads, plenty of cakes and pies, refreshing soft serve ice cream, and cold drinks. There were also plenty of activities and attractions for the kids in attendance. Some kids took a driving tour on classic vehicles with the Schorndorf Fire Department or got colorful face paint; others jumped on the bungee trampoline and tried out the riding course or the bounce house to work up a sweat. The Photo box was a highlight for all the guests, and made the event truly “unforgettable.”
Germany’s UEFA European Championship game against Denmark was unforgettable, if a little unusual, and started at 9:00 p.m. on the big screen under the tent. Heavy rain and thunderstorms caused weather-related delays and interruptions at the game, but luckily not at the Family Fest. Germany’s dream of a title at home continues, thanks to a slightly bumpy victory (2:0), and despite a brief flood in the Dortmund stadium, as they reach the quarter finals.
