In compliance with the applicable GDPR, Föhl has been successfully using the “Safedi” distance warning system since February 2021, in order to (indirectly) reduce the risk of coronavirus infection. When an employee is wearing the Safedi sensor on their upper body, it emits acoustic and visual signals if they are not complying with minimum safe distancing requirements. The sensor stores close contacts (max. 14 days) automatically in a close contact diary; if an infection is reported, this makes it possible to trace the potential infection chains, inform specific employees and take necessary measures.
