2010 - Awarded with two third prizes at the International Zinc Diecasting Competition at the Euroguss in Nürnberg.

2008
- Certification for ISO/TS 16949 in Foehl China

2007 - Winner of the International Newcast Award in Duesseldorf

Capacity increase:

* Now a total of 60 hotchamber diecasting machines with the latest investment in another 7 most modern FRECH zinc diecasting machines.

* On plastic injection moulding we invested in another 4 new ARBURG machines  and do have now the capacity of 28 machines there.

2006 - Winner of the International Zinc Diecasting Competition in Nuernberg

2005 - On 25 November the plant in Taicang, China began production. This is another milestone in the international company presence. The plant is located in the northeast of Shanghai.

2004 - The company was certified as per ISO/TS 16949 in accordance with the international requirements of the automotive industry. As a result, Föhl further strengthens its competence as a system partner to the automotive industry.
More than 11,000 tonnes of zinc were processed for the first time.

2001 - The German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder accompanies the candidate of the SPD (German Social Democratic Party) Ute Vogt on her campaign tour for the state elections in 2001 and visits Porsche and Föhl in the process. "I was very impressed by Föhl. It's an excellent example of the innovative power and performance of German small and medium-sized businesses and their employees!" The Chancellor then uses these words to describe his impressions following his visit to the "Factory with a Future" in Michelau.

2000 - Production begins 10/1 at the new site in Michelau "Plant 3" in three shifts with an initial 11 automatic die-casting machines with the option of future expansions. With 41 automatic die-casting machines and 24 plastic injection moulding machines, Föhl now produces high-quality die-cast zinc and injection moulded plastic parts at 3 locations.

1998/1999 - the company is awarded two certificates by the jury of the "nationalen Zinkverbandes e.V." (National Zinc Association).
1st prize for the best cast part "Sledge" in the new development of the current year.

Recognition for the best cast part "Casing for piston pump" from ongoing production.

1997 - Adolf Föhl, the company's founder, passes away on 25/2/1997 at the age of 75.

1996
- Föhl decides on Germany as its location. The purchase of the property with 30,844 sqm purchased in Ruders-
berg-Michelau was completed. In just a few years FÖHL 2000, one of the most modern die casting operations in Europe, is established.

On 27 November the company's director, Reinhold Föhl, passed away at the age of 53. Dr. Frank Kirkorowicz, his son-in-law, becomes his successor.

1996 - The year 1996 was primarily one of certifications:

* Quality management according to DIN ISO 9002,
* Environmental management according to DIN ISO 14000.

1994 - In Plant 2 eight automatic die casting machines with the latest technology are installed. A new epoch with modern automatic die casting machines and a high level of automation begins - the appearance of the foundry changes.

1993 - After a building period of two years, the company moves into the "Admini-
stration Building", with a usable area of 2,300 sqm.

1992 - In August: Introduction of PDA (Production Data Acquisition).

1990 - Introduction of quality assurance (QM system).

1989 - An additional location. "Föhl Plant" is put into operation by purchasing the factory building of the company Solo in Schorndorf-Haubersbronn. The entire injection moulding production process arrives there. The total production capacity is increased by 80 %.

1988 - IT is introduced to die design. The first CAD workstation is installed.

1987 - The first apprentices are trained in die making. Föhl becomes increasingly aware of its responsibility towards the society.

1983 - Opening of additional production areas with a basic area of 650 sqm (warehouse, mechanical parts machi-
ning, vibratory grinding, die making , die maintenance and design).

1978 - Following a major fire in the die casting building in July 1977, it is re-
turned to operation on the occasion of the 20th anniversary and the production and administrative area is expanded with a building extension.

1976 - On 17 December the KG (limited commercial partnership) becomes a GmbH + Co. KG (limited commercial partnership combined with a limited liability company). The company now conducts business as Adolf Föhl GmbH + Co KG.

1970 - Opening of an additional production building for die casting with 450 sqm.

1968 - The company's own die making department is founded and expanded the same year with the technical office "today design department".

1964 - Expansion of the production area with Shed 2 + 3.

1961 - Building of a production building (Shed 1) and an office floor.

1960 - Expansion of the product range with die-cast zinc and commissioning of the first hot-chamber automatic die casting machines.

1958 - In September Adolf Föhl founds the company in Necklinsberg. Together with his wife Gertrud and his son Reinhold, he puts the first injection moulding machine for the automatic production of thermoplastic products into operation.
